COUNSELOR APPROVAL: It is a requirement that students discuss their plans to take a VHS course with their base school counselor and receive verbal approval. If the counseling office does not approve, you can be withdrawn from your VHS course.
TUITION: (Rates and additional tuition information can be found here) At this time, the only acceptable form of payment for tuition is a money order or cashiers check payable to PWCS. Credit cards, personal checks or cash cannot be accepted at this time.

We have a new course catalog enrollment system - read the instructions carefully to be enrolled correctly - both current and new users must input information completely.
Be Prepared: You need to know your student ID# (6 digits for PWCS students), full base school name (see below for full names),counselor name and email. If you are a non-PWCS student, you will also need to enter your school division name and your race/ethnicity code [scroll to the bottom or click here for these codes].
INSTRUCTIONS for new and former students
Are you a NEW User?
New user: If you’ve never taken a course before, access the course catalog. Click on "create learner account". Input the student’s information and an email that can quickly be checked for confirmation. A parent email is preferable for quick access. You will receive an auto-confirmation email with a link to click to confirm your account. After confirming the learner account, return to the catalog and login to ENROLL IN A COURSE. This is a three step process: (1) create account (2) confirm by email (3) enroll in course.
**Courses can be accessed to complete the Program Orientation 5 days before the session start. At that time students can click on "Login to your VHS Course" in the left menu on this site or go tohttp://pwcs.desire2learn.com
CURRENT User (former VHS student)?
Current user: If you’ve taken a VHS course before, access the course catalog Login with the student's username and password (username should be firstname.lastname) If you are not inside the course catalog site, click the orange course catalog link. Your name should appear in the top right corner of the COURSE CATALOG site. Once you see the student's name in the top right corner. CLICK THE DOWN ARROW by your NAME in the COURSE CATALOG SITE and then click PROFILE: Complete or UPDATE ALL fields (current grade level, number of courses this session, student ID, base school, contact info, and update the"additional notes" field). This might look different when accessing from a mobile device - please use the menu. Then click Browse Courses to enroll.
NOTE: this is not the profile inside the learning management system, it is the registration profile inside the course catalog site.**Courses can be accessed to complete the Program Orientation 5 days before the session start. At that time students can click on "Already Enrolled?" in the top menu on this site or go to http://pwcs.desire2learn.com.
*NOTE: this is a new course catalog system so the link for "past courses" will not reflect any course prior to Summer 2015.

Confirmation of course enrollment:
Students will receive a confirmation email and can also confirm enrollment in the course catalog
. If you are enrolled the course will show in your "upcoming" tab. After enrollment, students need to submit tuition
and read the summer session schedule to know when and where to being the orientation. See links in the top menu.
**IT IS CRITICAL THAT ALL INFORMATION BE ENTERED CORRECTLY SO THE STUDENT ENROLLMENT WILL UPLOAD INTO THE STUDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND THE STUDENT IS CORRECTLY IDENTIFIED**

Your “base” school for purposes of VHS enrollment is the school you physically attend!!
NOTES: If you are a middle school student, enter the full name of your school. If you are a rising freshman, enter your rising HS. If you are Homeschooled indicate this as your school. If you are anon-PWCS student, enter the FULL name of your school.

- TO UN-ENROLL: If you change your mind and want to un-enroll from a course, login to course catalog, click my courses and then unenroll. If you have already paid tuition, you need to email Ms. Jones for a refund. There are no refunds for summer after tuition has been processed.
- WAITLIST: If you are placed on a waitlist for a course, you will automatically be enrolled when a space becomes available and you will receive an email confirmation.
- ACCESS: Remember, you will not be able to access your course until the program orientation window opens five (5) days prior to the session start date.
